Like many in the Washington, DC area, Frankenballs’ Head Baller Jessica Franken has a successful government relations business. What makes her a little different is a lifelong passion for sweet treats and an abiding love of feeding people, a love that manifested in hosting countless parties for friends and making hundreds of dozens of holiday cookies each year. When a work-related networking event she was co-hosting in 2010 desperately needed a dessert, Jessica scrambled to create something that would be both delicious and portable so her guests could satisfy their sweet tooth while continuing to network. With that, 'Frankenballs' was born. Starting with that first Frankenball, a decadent peanut butter chocolate toffee confection ('The Original'), Jessica quickly spun off more than a dozen new flavor combinations, each one delighting her family, friends and anyone else who happened to try them.
Since that time, Jessica has continued her government relations business, but in the meantime has grown an extensive network of supporters who can’t seem to get enough of her mouth-boggling Frankenballs. They proudly call themselves 'ballers', indulging in candy that's addictive yet legal.
